Why We Celebrate
The Marian Festival is our way of honoring our Blessed Mother Mary and consecrating our parish to her each year. We celebrate her birthday as a joyful reminder of her "yes" to God, which brought Jesus Christ into the world and into our lives.
This festival is more than an event. It's a renewal of our love and devotion to Mary, our spiritual mother, who intercedes for us and gently leads us closer to her Son. Each parishioner is invited to make a personal promise or offering to Mary, whether through prayer, service, or a special intention.
Through music, food, and fellowship, we come together as a family of faith to rejoice in Mary's presence in our lives. It’s also a way for us to publicly show our Catholic identity and invite others into the warmth and joy of our parish community.
Our celebration is a living expression of gratitude for Mary’s protection, for answered prayers, and for the countless ways she continues to care for our parish family.
